Dealing with some issues « Thread Started on Mar 28, 2006, 7:22am »
Tabitha was out walking around in the parking lot, dealing with some issues from other people she was talking to eariler that day, so she decided to take a walk around and ended up in a parking lot of a store. She didn't pay that much attention to see what store it was. All she knew was the day was pretty hot, which wasn't all that normal for her. What she had on that day was her usual attire. All black. With her sunglasses covering her eyes to keep the sunlight from blinding her.

Although it might not seem like it most of the time, River Wyatt had morals, she only stole from people who got on the wrong side of her. The smile on her face and the "Thank you, Morris," that echoed inside the store as she left it was a glimpse of her other side. I wouldn't say 'good' side, as she was far from it normally. Anyways, it was always better to keep on the good side of the civilians, especially since they were stuck in the middle of the war that she was part of upholding.
The site of another unfamiliar face got her hackles up, as the little number of people left in the city these days lead her to know every residence, especially those in the inner city. This new face was the second she seen that week, and she was undecided if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Sure, it meant there could be potential to increase numbers of Marauders, but for every one she recruited there were at least five going to the Elementals and God Slayers, and that worried her slightly.
She stuffed the small package she had just bought into her back pocket, flashing the dagger the was attached to her belt without realizing. She kept her eyes on the girl, a small frown etched on her face. Soon she forced a smile and walked up to her, unwrapping a lollipop as she did. "Hey, you new around here?"

She saw the girl exit the store carring a bag and noticed she had a dagger with her so she reached her hand to her back to make sure she had hers on her. When the girl walked over to her she smiled alittle which was uncommon. "Not really, I just go out all that much, why?" as she shifted her weight to one side and put her hand on her hip.
The wind then blew passed them causing her hair to blow around so she reached her hands up and tucked her hair behind her ears and hope it wouldn't mess up again as she stood there.

River shrugged. "No reason, I just don't recognise you, and I though I knew everyone in the inner city... I'm River Wyatt... and you'd do well to watch your back since you're a new face, you should be save for a while though, just, be careful..."
What was this? River was being strangely caring... a rarity in itself... but to someone she didn't know at all? And someone who wasn't even in her faction? Maybe the girl did have a heart after all...

"well that's to bad that you don't know me, but i can handle myself thank you" as she talked and moved her head at the same time which was sometimes common for her to do. She then let go of her dagger and drop her hand to her side, seeing as this girl was just trying to help her out alittle. "Well then River, it was a pleasure of meeting you" as she reached out her hand to shake good bye

River bit her lip as she shook Tabitha's hand, and nodded. She was putting her neck on the line yet again, but this girl seemed to be satisfactorily bad ass not to give a d**n, and so River did. "Hey, if you're in the area down my the old trailer park, call me name, I shouldn't be far away."
With that she smiled slightly, let go of her hand and began to walk off. River wanted Tabitha in her gang, she knew that she would fit in perfectly, and hopefully in time she would.

After she shook hands with River she smiled towards her "sure thing. It's River right? I'm Tabitha. Tabitha Harm." begining to be alittle more friendly towards River.Which was quite normal for her to be like that, but hey, there's aways a first for something. She then saw River turning around to leave so she stuck her hands in her pockets and began to walk on her way back to her house.
