She didn't say anything but spat at him, it hit him in the face. She ducked down before he could stab her in the throat and held her blade close. She panted, her body was numb and her stomach throbbed.

Nighthawk crawled back up to the road, and then stood up. "Leave her alone, you gung-ho barbarian! she's got nothing to do with this!"
He then raised his crossbow and shot it, the arrow tearing through the tendons in Josef's right arm.

"d**nit!" he aimed his arrow at Nighthawk and fired, it impaled him in the collarbone and pierced right through. He turned to Meagon with his sword. "I told you to leave and you didn't listen."

"oh, now this is just not CRICKET!" Nighthawk cried. He jumped down from the building, running to Josef, and smashed him across the face with his crossbow. He then picked up Meagon, and pushed her ahead of him, telling her to run while he ran behind to take anything that was thrown at him.

"I don't listen to people I hate!" she barked at him. She pulled out a small toxic dart from her pocket that she had frogotten about. She smiled innocently and threw it at him, hitting him in the leg.

"move Meagon! just go!" Nighthawk cried, still trying to stay between her and the police officer. He didn't intend for her to get hurt, nor for her to end up in a cell. he wouldnt have that on his concience

Meagon looked over at him and then finally nodded. She ran past his, putting her knife in his back pocket as she ran past. Then turned into a dark alley, a slight limp in her strade.

Nighthawk made sure that Meagon was gone, and then turned to look back at the police officer. Sure this guy was, what? late-teens? early twenties? But he'd put up a decent fight. Nighthawk watched him, hoping that the dart would do its job. He shook his head.
"I don't do prison. The company doesn't agree with me."
He turned and ran down the row of single story buildings, before jumping up and disappearing on top of them.
Nighthawk was gone.

She heard the commotion from the streets and immediately ran toward the area, drawing her twin scythes. She skidded into the area, ready to defend herself, but found the fight was over. She looked to Ulof with a raised eyebrow.
"What happened?" Satyriasis asked, straightening and sliding her scythes back into their holders.
